We're more than chuffed to annouce the launch of our new dedicated server for Rise of Flight! This server hosts the brilliant missions built by O_Taipan & O_Dingo, and caters for nearly everyone! 12/3/2011 - major website overhaul
Originally slated for Feburary 22'nd, this update/overhaul which you see before you now, was delayed while our webmaster took care of his family in the aftermath of the aforementioned Christchurch earthquake. This overhaul gives us an entirely new front/home page system, encorporating java and a much more modern and updated theme. In addition to this, we also have done a update to our forum software.
06/3/2011 - Our first submitted ROF skin packs voted in!
Our first three skin packs, tentatively submitted two weeks ago, have passed their voting approval time with flying colours. With the exception of some minor negative votes, we believe we did quite well. This opens the door for the remainder of our skin packs to be submitted for approval as soon as we can.
22/02/2011 - All members safe and accounted for after christchurch quake!
All our members, including O_Magpie, O_Kad & their family who live in Christchurch, New Zealand, are safe & accounted for. O_Magpie & O_Kad were in the Central Business District on the 10th floor of a 11 story building, when the devastating 6.3 quake, who's epicenter was mere kilometers away, struck. Their building, only a few buildings down from the collapsed CTV building, and a couple over from the severly damaged Grand Chancellor building sustained damage, and their parking building collapsed, and their house was turned upside down, but they are fine. Oceanic Wing sends its best wishes for the victims, and their friends & families of this disaster.

Growing and evolving, Oceanic Wing's project team has had a make over, just in time for Christmas 2010! Although nothing major, among other things we have decided to change the name of our project team from Oceanic Aircraft Factory (OAF), to Oceanic Aircraft Works, (OAW). With this we have a nice new logo as well.
After the earthquakes struck Christchurch, New Zealand, we lost some data with our mods, including a neigh on complete version of this mod, which would have given you a complete 3D overhaul, a new cockpit, and other fixes. However, despite this, we have decided to release version 0.5b - which gives you a 3D overhaul of the external model, and a fix which gives you a 50-50% chance of the warhead detonating on impact (unlike the original mod which does not detonate the warhead on impact). Please note this is a beta, and we hope to finish it once our workload eases a little.

16/11/2010 - ROF SQUADRON SKINS TRANSLATION GENERATOR TOOL RELEASED
We're pleased to announce the release of version 1.13 of the Squadron Translator tool, designed and written by O_Taipan, to help aid in the creation of squadron, or large, personal/custom skin packs for Rise of Flight.

19/9/10 Boeing B-29 Silverplate Atomic Bomber & Miles Magister M.14 MODS FOR IL2 ADDED
Finally, our two early mods for Il2: Stormovik have a permanent home, after years of being yanked all over the internet. Whilst the Magister is still in Beta form, the Silverplate is in finished form, and compatible with any modded Il2 game install.
21/7/10 OCEANIC WING WEBSITE AND FORUM LAUNCHED
